A portion of all book sales through Trimaxx International Publishers go to organizations to raise awareness and support, as well as create research and treatment opportunities for HIV/AIDS, Breast Cancer, and Natural Disaster relief efforts.
Why HIV/AIDS?
Trimaxx is very aware of the dangers of un-protected sex. They are very concerned at how widely the epidemic is spreading within various communities throughout the world, especially amongst African Americans. Therefore, this company feels that it is its duty, as a vital part of the literary community and its contribution to the erotic genre. to do as much as possible to promote awareness and safe sex. For that reason, Trimaxx and its involvement in educating and giving advice/council in the area of interpersonal relationships, does as much as possible to promote awareness and safe sex.
Why Hurricane Katrina?
Hurricane Katrina relief is near and dear to members of Trimaxx, as some of them were in Biloxi Mississippi during the devastating storm, witnessing the destruction first hand. After surviving the catastrophic event, they were moved to ensure that through their efforts, however small, that others would remember and continue to support those that are still suffering.
Why Breast Cancer?
One of the quietest tragedies in a woman's life would be to hear that she has breast cancer , or that it's too late to do anything about it. Millions of women each year put off the exams, ignore the signs, or just don't have the money to pay for care. And even more women don't think they have to worry about it because "no one in my family has it", or "I never get sick". However the newest reason seems to be "I don't believe in doctors or medicine".
We would like you all to know, that there are free exams, screenings and mammograms available in most cities across the US. Please, check your phone book in the 'local government' or local community pages; you will find 'Women's Health' listings. If you cannot, dial '211' on any telephone and ask for your local Women's Health Services.
